Every year we do a little something to our home school room to make the back to school “home study” part fun and exciting. For example, this year we moved so they all got a new desks and they got to arrange the pencils and pens and drawers to get organized. But in years prior, we made simple changes in the room and basically cleaned up their desk areas and got inexpensive colorful containers so that they could get organized. We also got each kid a cheap bulletin board with the first letter of their name on it so they could display their work. However, something as simple as a new little white board or a couple of cool folders for home can make going back to “home study” super exciting.
