Parent Programs

PARENT PROGRAMS

“We believe that parents are primary, but not meant to be solitary.”

HOPE Academy provides valuable programs and resources to help parents successfully support their students and engage in the larger school community.

PARENT TRAINING

Parents meeting with teacher happy smiles

Through multiple parent training opportunities offered throughout the school year, parents are equipped to engage in HOPE Academy’s unique school model. Training sessions include topics on child development, parenting, learning, and curriculum.

Examples of training that is provided include:

  • New Parent Orientation
  • Parent Training Day/Community Gathering Day
  • Educational Workshops
  • Coffee & Curriculum/Grade-Level Meetings

MOMS CONNECT

The Moms Connect group facilitates opportunities for moms at HOPE Academy to fellowship and encourage one another on a deeper level.

Throughout the school year, Moms Connect events are a great time to drop in with or without younger siblings and have great conversations and time together.

MEN OF HOPE

The Men (dads) of HOPE were established during HOPE Academy’s first year. This group’s goals are to model service for our children and encourage one another as fathers. The Men of HOPE facilitate weekly Bible studies for HOPE dads and other members of the community.

The Men of HOPE and their students meet for dinner and volunteer at a local assisted living residence each month. This group also coordinates our annual Field Day and BBQ lunch event, which has become a well-anticipated tradition on the last day of school.

We look forward to partnering with your family throughout our many parent programs!
