Immediate openings:

1. LOWER ELEMENTARY TEACHER
Our lower elementary teacher will be in class on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Wednesdays are at-home planning days, but teachers are able to work from home. This is a salaried position.  Preferred qualifications for teaching positions:

-Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or relevant subject field.
-A current teaching license is preferred, but not required.  Must be willing to work towards license renewal if expired.
-3+ years of teaching experience (preferably in a public school).
-A demonstrated history of excellence, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines.
-A desire to partner with parents to educate children.

2. ELEMENTARY TEACHER’S ASSISTANT
Our lower elementary teacher’s assistant will be primarily assigned to one classroom, but will be asked to serve in other capacities within the school as needed.  This position will involve instructional as well as clerical duties and is a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday position.  Other days/hours may be required during busy seasons such as the start and end of school.  This is an hourly position.  Preferred qualifications:

-Minimum of a High School Diploma
-3+ years of relevant experience assisting in a classroom.
-A patient, loving, flexible demeanor and a servant’s heart.
-A passion for working with students.
-A desire to be “all in”, serving wherever needed as we grow our program.

3. ASSISTANT TO THE HEAD OF SCHOOL
This position requires being on campus 3 days per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs) as well as during school events.  Additional work may be required from home.  The Assistant to the Head of School provides confidential, consistent and professional support to the Head of School.  Possessing excellent organizational, writing, and editing skills and an ability to anticipate the needs of the office, the Assistant takes initiative to make the work of the Head of School more efficient.  This is a salaried position.  Minimum qualifications:

-3-5 years of previous experience as an executive assistant is required.  Project management experience is helpful.
-Bachelor’s degree required.
-A skilled communicator both in written and verbal expression.
-A demonstrated history of excellence, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines.
-A desire to be “all in”, serving wherever needed as we grow our program through 12th grade.

4. UPPER SCHOOL FRONT DESK ASSISTANT
This position requires being on campus 3 days per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs).  The Front Desk Assistant is the first point of contact for visitors to the Upper School, parents, staff and students.  As the face of the Upper School, the Assistant should be welcoming, personable, helpful, and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner.  This is an hourly position.  Preferred qualifications:

-High School Diploma required.
-Able to multitask and work flexibly.
-Relevant experience is preferred.
-A demonstrated history of excellence, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines.
-A desire to be “all in”, serving wherever needed as we grow our program through 12th grade.

5. UPPER SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR
This position requires being on campus 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs) and will be responsible for overseeing our 6th-11th grade program. Applicants must have prior experience as both a teacher and an administrator. This is a salaried position.  Preferred qualifications:

-Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or relevant subject field.
-3+ years of teaching experience.
-2+ years of experience as a principal, Head of School, or other major leadership position.
-A demonstrated history of excellence, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines.
-A desire to be “all in”, serving wherever needed as we grow our program through 12th grade.

6. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
Substitute teachers play a critical role at HOPE by filling in as needed for teachers who are absent.  Substitute teachers should be available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  Wednesday availability for High School is a plus, but not required. Preferred qualifications for substitute teaching positions:

-Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
-A passion for working with students.
-Classroom management or teaching experience is helpful, but is not required.
